Cat got out of the bag too soon!

There has been some serious talk and work about bringing you a printed newspaper devoted to tango. It has been decided that to launch that project before Oct or Nov would not be a setup for success. The plan for La Vida Tango started out as a weekly e-zine about tango, for the present time it will continue such.

Mission Statement:
Our mission is to provide a virtual home where all tangueros, from beginners to advanced, can access the rich culture of
La Vida Tango and the many and varied resources available to them. Remain inclusive and impartial with regard to styles, theories and organizations. Strive to help individuals to raise their level and understanding of the dance. Inspire tango lovers have fun and enjoy their tango.

Our advice:

Norma and Peter
Second week of the month found me at the milonga at Glen's in Austin. Great hard wood floor and with Glover at the piano the tangos were muy delicioso. Thank you Austin tangueros for making me feel so at home. Looking forward
the cruise and some private lessons with  Peter . . .
             Oh too Caliente!

The week before was the Open House at Eric Lanoix in Clear Lake.  We got to christen a brand new floor! The turn out was great with a lots of Houston tango  lovers. Susana Collins,
M. Figart III, illusive L. Buck, R.&V.Schoenberg, Mercy
Chen and Ron to name drop a few. From  S.A.  Frank Huddleston and B Clifford.

Many thanks to both tangueros for providing  places to tango.
I found a good place to have fish in Austin, Eddy V's  at the Arboretum. Oysters at Captain Tom's in Katy, Tx were worth having two days in a row!
Te`veo  en un milonga !

What do all the tango lovers in S A have in common ?         Daniels Birthday at Silo's
                  Our love for Daniel
Sr. Monserrat had a birthday party at Silos, and he provided the entertainment. Daniel moves easily between groups giving us the opportunity to enjoy and dance to his beautiful music,  He is an ambassador who represents all of us who enjoy tango. He is a tango treasure in San Antonio, we truly  appreciate him.      Commentary by P. Whitty
